The kids i take care of have no parents and I'm their only guardian. but it doesn't give me that option. what to do

No. Their mom was my friend but she passed away. Their dad is unknown. I'm their only guardian

If these children were placed with you by the court, you could claim them as foster children.  You would list them as foster children.  Enter them as my child, then select foster child on the next screen.
