The IRS updated Form 8606 three days ago! Why hasn't Turbotax done so? I want to file my taxes and waiting is ridiculous. I'm having second thoughts about Turbotax.

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1908854-irs-forms-availability-table-for-turbotax-individual-perso... is a link to estimated forms availability which appears to be 2/15. I know the IRS paper form is not expected to be out till 2/8/18, which means the electronic version is always shortly after and needs to be tested, hence the added delay.

I am sorry about the delays, so many last minute IRS changes. The reason the 8606 is delayed this year is due to hurricane tax relief provisions that require some changes to the form and IRS computer programming.
