The IRS says they start accepting returns on January 24th, but Turbotax says the 31st. My taxes are completed and are waiting to be transferred. When will that happen?

I am hoping that Turbo will transfer them today (the 24th) rather than wait until the 31st since the IRS starts accepting today.

Go to Review in the TurboTax program and see if you have forms and/or schedules that have not yet been finalized in your tax return.

If you already e-filed then your return has already been sitting on the server waiting for the IRS to start accepting/rejecting returns.   You are now at the mercy of when the IRS lets yours through----watch your emails.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

So the IRS website says that my return has been received and is being processed, but that is not reflected in Turbotax. Turbotax says it is still waiting for it to be accepted. Is there a delay in when Turbo is notified by the IRS?
