what further guidance do you need? That link is FROM the IRS  Turbo should get the latest info and act quickly Disappointed

If you are doing your own 2020 tax year tax return, entering the lower amount of unemployment might work for the federal 1040 HOWEVER it is not yet clear how the states will react. 

 

Even adding a blurb to reduce the unemployment would be time-consuming since this is a huge software program. 

 

I'm not a programmer, but I assume the 1099-G will be entered as shown and the program will adjust the tax as is appropriate.
