The IRS rejected my federal and state returns due to the AGI from 2017. I filed late last year through H&R block and have paid taxes, late fees, and penalties.

I got the correct AGI from 2017 returns. Why can't I e-file?

Because you filed late for 2017, your 2017 AGI did not make it into the system.  Try using zero.  If zero does not work for you, then you have to print, sign and mail 2018.
