The interview to fill out the energy credit form has a glitch. Any ideas when this will be fixed? It was supposed to be fixed March 6 th and that has long gone.

When I get to enabling product question and select no, I am still prompted to select a cost. If I put in zero dollars you get a fix error. When you look at the form at this time, neither yes or no is marked. Filing online and it does not give me the option to fix that error

There was an update. Make sure all updates have been applied.

 

If you are using desktop software you may need to do a manual update. Try clearing your Cache and Cookies and then try this link instructions.

 

If you are using the online software, Clear Cache and Cookies

 

Not all instances have been resolved for form 5695. If you are claiming a credit for an external door, you will need to wait until March 13 and try filing again.

I cleared cache and the 5695 form interview is still not working. I am not claiming external doors. Claiming furnace and air conditioner. When I get to the section “Did you install improvements  or replacements for enabling property?”it then takes me to “Improvements or replacements installed for enabling property” when I marked “no” on the previous screen. I am using the online version. Now when I try to delete the form and start over I cannot find the option to delete form under tools.

This still isn't resolved after following all the suggested steps. I have tried to run through this more times than I can count and tried several workarounds, none of them working. Boxes 17 a - c are still incorrect and box 25a is not checked. I have spent hours on support with TurboTax as well, and now they tell me it will be resolved for me specifically in the next 24-48 hours. I asked for the desktop version as that's a known workaround, but the agent would not offer that to me as an option. I am near my wits end with this and despite being with TurboTax many years, this is the last straw for me if this issue is not resolved.

This is still not working. When I mark “no” Did you install improvements or replacements for enabling property? The interview still takes me to “Improvements or replacements installed for enabling property and I have to select from the enabling property list and then the QMID code and then a cost you paid and total paid. I did not have any cost. Have to fill in something to finish the interview. When I finally get to where I can fix, the question “Did you install improvements… I can then mark no but I get other errors and cannot proceed
