The home screen shows federal and state. By federal it shows an amount, state doesn't show anything. Does that mean I'm not getting my returns from state?

Have you already submitted your return? 

If you have, and you do not see anything on your home screen about your state return, I would first verify that a state return has been successfully efiled.

If it has been efiled and accepted, you can download a copy of your return to get the state refund amount, and then use this information to track your refund status:

If you have not yet filed your return, the refund meters are constantly updating based off of the information you provide. The final refund numbers will be shown once you have completed both the federal and state sections.

I wasn't able to efile since I didn't have my info from last year's returns so I mailed my returns (about 2 weeks ago). So everything was completed. When I was filled out the info for my taxes and completed them, it shows an amount for both. Just doesn't show both on the home screen. Only federal, which I don't understand.
