The extension payment made with filing an extension is different than what is recorded in TurboTax. I am trying to change it but the field is grayed out. how do I change?

The extension payment is grayed out and I need to change it so that I can make a payment with my tax filing. TurboTax has no way to get back in and modify the amount.

To address a discrepancy between your actual extension payment and the amount shown in TurboTax, you can manually update the amount in the Deductions & Credits section of TurboTax under Estimates and Other Taxes Paid. Click Start/Update next to Payments with Extension and enter the exact amount you paid.
