I e-filed my tax extension form but I wasn't given the option to choose the filing a 1040NR checkbox on the Turbotax application. However the extension was filed? How can I correct this?

The bos 9 checkbox applies if you file Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ and didn’t receive wages as an employee subject to U.S. income tax withholding.

If this applies to you, print out a copy of Form 4868 and mail it into the IRS. The form and instructions can be found by clicking on this link: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4868.pdf
