Bottom line is that you should enter what you actually received regardless of what the IRS shows on your letter.
Compare the amount on the letter (if you received one) with the deposits you received. Next use the IRS CTC Update Portal to see if this agrees with what you actually received.
File your return and be prepared for delayed processing times, of which are not know since the IRS is behind due to the challenge of changes over the last two tax seasons.
And don't confuse the letter with the letter for the Stimulus payment. You should be getting 2 letters, 6419 for the advance Child Tax Credit and 6475 for the 3rd Stimulus payment. If you are married you should each get letters for half.
