At least on my Windows 11 Computer....13th Gen Intel i7 processor....it is running at 1.4gHz and 2014 Premier runs just fine.
Not sure there is a minimum CPU speed listed in the requirements.
Perhaps something else......like lots of folks with windows computers, are finding they have to have the most recent version of Microsoft Visual C++ x64 installed.
I am having the same issue. My system is a high end desktop PC with Intel i7 3.7GHz processor running windows 10 and this turbotax2024 is saying i dont meet the 2Ghz processor requirements.
what is up with this? No problems running last years version on this same PC .
Is there anyway to make it work?
I figured out my problem. In bios disable Turbo mode for CPU. Then windows shows the full speed of cpu and lets you install turbotax 2024 without the 2GHz system requirement. In my case the base clock was showing 80Mhz when not in turbo mode in windows task manger IE: idle at windows desktop.
After disabling Turbo mode it shows base clock of 3.7GHz which is the correct CPU speed
