The 2016 AGI that Turbotax automatically inserted will not match or be correct if your 2016 Return is showing as "Started". To check, go to :

  • Previous Taxes
  • 2016, It will show you a refund amount, or a tax due amount, or it will say "Started".

"Started" means that this 2016 Return was not finished and efiled, however, you may have printed it out and mailed it in, or you finished and efiled in another account or another Tax service. Or the IRS never received it and in that case, your AGI would be $0. To know for sure, you can go to irs.gov/transcripts.
