Filing Extension payment, does not appear in Federal Returns.

I added a Federal Extension Payment in the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section of my Home and Business TurboTax 2016 software, but when I get back to the home screen of the Deductions and Credits section, it shows $0, instead of the amount that I am paying in the extension. How do I manually add the extension payment to the Federal return, so that it appears?

To manually change your form 4868 federal extension, go into Deductions and Credits of the Personal section, then select Forms view at the top right corner and add the extension amount to line 70

Go back to Deductions and Credits,

Then to Estimated and Other Taxes Paid

then to subheading, Other Income Taxes

then Payments with the Federal Extension.

Just did mine and it shows up on line 70 of the Form 1040.

Thanks and I tried that, but it didn't work.  But, I did figure it out.  If you switch to Forms view at the top right, and go into Form 1040, line 70, then you can add it manually.
