I got a 1099-G f 2016. I was married then and both of our names are on this form. Now I am single and filing without him now 2017. How do we file that?

I got a 1099-G f 2016. I was married then and both of our names are on this form. Now I am single and filing without him now 2017. How do we file that?

You can split it up between you as you agree ... if one wants to take it all they can or you can divide it any way you choose.   If you cannot decide then use a 50/50 split.
