Is the correct file name for a saved TurboTax file on a mac as follows: first name last name 2016 Tax Return. txt. Is this the correct file name?

I saved my  Turbo tax documents under an unique name (mistake) and now Turbotax cannot find the documents.

Thank you for using turbotax. Check if your tax file is saved as .tax2016 file. if not please change the type to .tax2016 file and save it .Try opening that file by double clicking or launching app and open tax return from file menu
