Hello, im in android and i tried to file my taxes as a dependent but i didnt realize my parents claimed me as a dependent, how can i fix that and get my return?

You mean you claimed yourself?  Go to My Info, click Edit by your name and scroll down to #3.

If you have already filed the 2018 tax return and it has been Accepted by the IRS then you will need to amend the tax return but only after you have received the tax refund or any taxes owed have been processed.

If you have not yet filed the 2018 tax return then you change your dependency status in the My Info section of the program.  If you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, click on Add a State and that will take you back to the 2018 tax return to make your changes.

Click on My Info on the left side of the screen.  Edit your name.  There is a section where you are asked Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return.  Select Yes and Continue.
