Having a green card makes you a resident alien in the United States. (You are called a resident alien, even though you don't live in the U.S.) As a resident alien you must file a U.S. tax return and report your worldwide income, not just income from the U.S. Your U.S. tax may be reduced or eliminated if you paid tax on the income to other countries. You should have filed a U.S. tax return for 2018, and probably for 2017 as well. And reporting zero income on your 2019 U.S. tax return was not correct.

I suggest that you find a local tax professional wherever you are living now who is familiar with U.S. taxes. The tax professional will be able to help you get into compliance with your U.S. tax obligations for past years, and show you what you have to do in the future.

In 2017, you would have been considered a dual status alien. You would have been required to file a non-resident tax return for the period between January 1 and October 21, that only listed income you earned in the United States.  And you would have been required to file a resident return for worldwide income earned after October 21, 2017.  You also owed a resident return for 2018 and 2019, that reported and paid tax on all your worldwide income. You would get a credit for taxes paid in other countries.

I'm sure that a tax specialist who has experience with U.S. taxes will be able to take care of it. There are no guarantees, but you'll be a lot better off with a tax specialist than trying to do it yourself.

You will have to file an amended return (Form 1040-X) for 2019 to correct the zero-income tax return that you filed. The tax specialist that you consult will be able to help you with that, as well as everything else.
