Taxes on my 2022 SSDI
Should I be having taxes taken out on my SSDI monthly benifits? Approximately how much, in percentage. I get a retirement check monthly, and I am taxes taken out for that. But I just got awarded my SSDI but they are not taking out taxes.

Taxes on my 2022 SSDI
Hello BenLee,
Your SSDI may be taxable based on the amount of other income you have.
You can have taxes withheld from the benefits by filling out form W-4V here is the link https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4v.pdf
Once complete, sign it and either mail it or bring it in person to your local Social Security Office
Thankns
