Tax Year Prior to 2020: Married filing together on H 1-b visa

Hi everyone!

I wanted to ask if I could use TurboTax live to figure out how to file my taxes.

My wife and I are both working on our own individual H1-b visas, changed last year from J-1.

We have been in the US since June 2016.

Can i use turbo tax to work on my taxes before filing, and is there a restriction on us filing together/separately and is there a reason to do either/or?

No, I wasn't recommending you hire a CPA to do your taxes. I was advising that it best to get legal immigration advice being that you are currently working on your immigration status to ensure you and your wife choose the correct filing status.
