Tax Year Prior to 2020: I need help understanding the difference between "miles I drove for uber" and "miles I drove" in 2016. Does the second option Uber related miles as well?

The miles you drove for Uber are for the deduction on your Schedule C (or C-EZ). The other one is for the total miles driven for all purposes (including Uber). Both need to be entered to get a business use percentage for your vehicle.
