Tax Year Prior to 2020: cannot delete self employed health Insurance entry in desktop 2018 version

Yes, to delete the self-employed health insurance entry in TurboTax CD/Download for 2018 used for filing the prior-year taxes, try going to the Forms mode.

In Open Forms, type in health insurance. By opening the form, the value generating the form could be deleted here, or the form itself could be deleted by clicking "delete this form" in the bottom row of the open window.

Cannot delete  Health LTC Wks form . I delete it and it keeps showing back up. Also at bottom it says " Self Employment adjustment of $966 form premiums paid through an exchange is included as an adjustment but does not appear on these worksheets.

In the FORMS mode you will need to track down the root of the issue ... click on the amount you need to remove to data source it ... this will tell you where the original entry is.

Yes, I don't know where the original entry is. I see the amount in multiple places in the forms (Easy Step), but cannot delete it.

If you have insurance through the market place, you would not be able to deduct the premium as self-employed health insurance. Instead you report your 1095-A to produce form 8962 to claim the premium credit on your personal 1040.

Switch to the FORMS mode ... then choose the form in the list on the left with a RED ! mark next to it ... then look in the window for the reddish box (this is the issue) then click on the red box and choose to data source where the error comes from ... then follow that to drill down the root of the issue.

Thank you, yes, I figured that out a while ago, but the problem is when I think I have deleted it in the Easy Step, Forms section it still shows up on the front section in Less Common Business Situations - Self Employed Health Ins as $966.  It is not being deleted in the Forms section.
