Tax topic 203 can i prevent them from taking my return really need this money for a car i have kids and its winter snow rain ect didnt know i owed anybody

You must contact whoever the money was owed to about this.

Sadly you cannot stop them however if you filed a joint tax return you can file an injured spouse form.
