Tax is being filed jointly. My kids and wife moved out of US in May 2016.

Two questions are asked "Did your daughter lived with you for more than 6 months in this year?", "How long she lived in US?"
- Are these questions to me or my wife or both? Should I answer 12 months and 5 months?

The questions are based on both of you since you are filing jointly. Since the children lived with you and your wife all year, you would answer as such.
