T/Tax is incorrectly imputing my months of residency in two states

How do I force the software to correct this?

A little more information.

Colorado residence for first 7 months.

Then Indiana for remaining.

The software is erroneously forcing me to pick a county of residence for Indiana

beginning in January when I was living in Colorado.

Be certain to enter your state data in the My Info section. You'll indicate your state of residence as of 12/31/2017 and the state you lived in prior. When completing the state taxes section, complete your resident state first, then the prior state's return.
