Survey loop ლ(´•д• ̀ლ (Desktop Turbotax Premier 2025)

The picture speaks for itself.
I completed the survey, but it keeps looping me back to take it again before I can continue.
Clicking on the X close button won't help.
Just the fun first step of getting started. 🙄 (on Windows 11)
Anyone dealing with the same issue and has a way to work around it? Thanks!

Survey loop ლ(´•д• ̀ლ (Desktop Turbotax Premier 2025)

Here are some things you can try to clear this.

Run TurboTax as Administrator

This resolves many Desktop 2025 issues. Intuit explicitly recommends this for Windows problems.

  • Right‑click the TurboTax icon → Run as administrator
  • Try completing the survey again

2. Reset TurboTax’s embedded browser cache

TurboTax stores its web components in your user AppData folder. Clearing them often breaks loops.

Steps:

  • Close TurboTax
  • Press Win + R → type: %localappdata%
  • Open the Intuit or TurboTax folder.  it should be in this location C:\Users\<your‑username>\AppData\Local\Intuit\ This is in your briefcase icon (called File Explorer) at the bottom of your screen. From here go to This PC>users
  • Delete folders named Browser, WebView, Cache, or similar
  • Relaunch TurboTax (preferably as admin)
