Stimulus Checks and Child Tax Credit

To which "box" on the tax form do I add the :

1. $600 per person Stimulus Check   That was reconciled on the 2020 tax return and goes nowhere on the 2021 return.

2. $1400 per person Stimulus Check   That is handled right after you finish the deductions & credit section ... just click continue and that will be next on the agenda.

3. Six x $250 Child Tax Credit  This is handled in the Deductions & Credits section in the Child related section ... again simply follow the screen instructions to enter the amount you got in advance as reported on the IRS 6419 letter.

What "box" on the Form 1040?   You do not add things directly to the forms when you use this software.   You enter data when you are in the screens for those things.   If you are getting the CTC it will end up on line 28.   If you are getting any stimulus for 3rd EIP it will show up on line 30.  You cannot add anything to a 2021 tax return for the $600 2nd EIP payment.   That can only be entered on a 2020 tax return.

What are you trying to do?  Why are you asking which "box" to use?
