Maybe you are waiting for some forms. Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.
Many federal and state forms are not yet available. Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.
Be patient.
IF you e-file now, your return will go into “pending” until the IRS starts to accept/reject returns in late January. You cannot make any changes while the return is on the server. The IRS will start to accept/reject 2025 e-files on January 26. And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

Im having the same issue. I have a w-2 and 1099-g in my hands. I redid it twice on different devices and it’s also stuck in a loop where it won’t let me sign the final step. After the second banking info it says continue but only lets me click on option 1 review. I doubled checked everything. I also go back and click the review and it says everything is perfect. What do you mean my files arnt ready when they are in my hand? I don’t get it please help thanks
I’m having the same issue. Were you able to resolve it on your end?
Some customers are experiencing issues when trying to file and pay with their refund. We are investigating this issue. However, if you would prefer to file now, you can do so by switching to pay your TurboTax fees with a credit card instead of using the pay with my refund option by following these steps.
After literal hours on the phone with support, we came up with a work around with this issue.
I filed, Federal was accepted, State was not due to State ID issue - however, when I would go to fix the issue, I couldn't get to where I needed to go.
The last person I spoke with had me try countless things... however, what worked for me was deleting my State Taxes and redoing it. Once I did that, I was able to go back through step 2 to step 3 and my issue is fixed.
Hopefully, this helps you too.
