How can I get the status of my refund

If you have successfully filed and your return status shows as accepted in TurboTax, you will need to check the IRS's website to track the status of your refund. Once they process the return and approve your refund, they will update the status with a deposit (or check mailed) date for you, on their website. 

You can use the IRS Where's My Refund site for the latest status on your federal tax refund.

If you efiled your return, you need to confirm that it was transmitted by TurboTax and whether it was accepted or rejected. Use this link to confirm: https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp

If it was accepted, what does the IRS tracking web site say about the status of your refund: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If it was rejected, you need to fix the reason for rejection and resubmit it.

If you chose to print and mail your return, you have to print, sign and mail it yourself. TurboTax does not mail it for you.
