Just remember to uncheck the boxes for submitting the state returns that you don't want to file at this time. The Federal return will be the only one submitted electronically and then you can mail the state return(s) later. I did the same thing as I had two states to worry about - one resident and the other non-resident. I filed one electronically with the federal return because it had a refund. The other non-resident state had an amount due and so I will mail that later with a check.
