State tax form rejected. The State Abbreviation Code is missing or invalid on State 1099-INT. This information was uploaded, how to fix?

Are you reporting interest on a 1099-INT that is tax exempt in your state?  If so, in TurboTax Online Premier version, follow these steps:

• Go to Federal / Wages & Income / Your income / Investments and Savings / Interest on 1099-INT.
• Click Start / Revisit to the right.
• Edit the 1099-INT.
• At the screen Let's get the info from your 1099-INT, click Continue.
• At the screen Do any of these uncommon situations apply? click My state.....
• At the drop box, select the appropriate state.

Thanks for your response, appreciate the help.......I'm not reporting any 1099-INT that is tax exempt. All my 1099-INT's were uploaded. I removed one of them that I think is the problem and manually entered the information. Hopefully it's corrected and matter resolved. Unfortunately, since it's Friday evening I will not know for a couple of days. TY!
