Spouse's first name is spelled incorrectly, how do you correct this?

If you have not filed your return yet you can log in to your account, get back into your return and go under the personal information tab and correct it there.

If you have already filed your return, wait to see if the IRS and/or your state reject your return. If they do, follow the steps above and correct it, if they don't, you do not need to worry about this year, just update it for the following year.
