Spouse died, Son and myself are getting SS benefits, one is in my name the other is mine and my son's name. Do I need to file anotherSSA1099-sm for son's benefits?

I did receive 2 separate 1099's for this. Not sure what I need to do. Am I supposed to file separate taxes for the one with my son and my name on it?

You do not report the child's Social Security benefits on your tax return.  Only the SSA-1099 received with your Social Security number entered in box 2 of the form is entered on your tax return.  If the child has no other income they do not report the Social Security benefits received on a tax return.
