Special Tax Deduction in 2021 of $600 when sufficient charitable contributions even though using the standard deduction

My federal tax return shows the $600 special tax deduction after I've completed and reviewed my federal return in Turbo tax Deluxe version, and after completing and reviewing my MN State tax return. However, if I continue on the step in the review section 'Let's make sure your taxes are correct' the $600 special tax deduction gets changed to $300. Is this a TT bug, or how do I circumvent this?

We recommend that you complete your return, and continue to the page which says "Wrap Up Tax Breaks" or the "Final Review" page.  Assuming you are taking the standard deduction, and it appears that you are, when you are at the aforementioned sections, the application should update to reflect the full amount of your charitable contribution (which must be in cash) of $600.

OK. Thanks. Continuing through the review section, turbo flagged the special tax reduction and allowed me to change the amount back to $600. Then turbo successfully completed the review section.
