Undo tax filing to file jointly?

I filed my return and got my refund already but we decided that we should have filed jointly. Do we have to amend my taxes to filing jointly? Or can we file his jointly and get rid of mine somehow?

Sorry if he hasn't filed yet you have to amend your return to be Joint.
