Every year I get confused & I can't find the question I asked until someone responds. Is it really that difficult?
I don't recall exactly which heading I posted under or the exact description or topic I listed in Subject. Why can't I just click on my Initial or Notifications or something? I'm going in circles and TurboTax is driving me crazy. [Desktop]
It's the same question every year that I can't figure out -Not because I don't have the answer, it's because of how Turbotax makes the questions very confusing. Why is it asking me the same question twice on the same screen?
And how the heck do I bookmark this question so I can find it again?
I already spelled out how much of Exempt Interest Dividends are for CA vs other States in the Federal portion. Now in the State portion it asks again! Twice. Which dividends are 50% or less for CA OR US Govt? I want to scream!
Same exact question twice on one screen, yet I already entered the data it needs in Federal. TurboTax thinks I don't know that Dividends are not exempt unless more than 50% invested in US Govt for Fed Tax Return and more than 50% in CA govt for State Tax Return. Why is it making it impossible for me to answer what should be a simple question?
