IND-516 - If the Primary Taxpayer is claimed as an exemption in the return, then the Primary SSN must not be the same as a Dependent SSN on another return.

Some one has already claimed you as a dependent on their filed return ... did you accidentally try to also claim your self ? If you were a dependent then in the Personal info tab you must change your answer to this question ...

Thank you for getting back to me. My sister was "claimed" to but she was able to file still? I am confused on why this doesn't work for me?

You can file ... you just can't claim your own exemption ... go back and change that option in the personal info tab ... edit yourself and look for the screenshot above.
