So, just to clarify, I do not need to fill out anything on turbotax saying I sold a home if I have the certification for non reporting on the sale of my residence?

You did not receive a 1099-S did you?  You should not have.  

That is correct. If you have a signed certification, and no 1099-S was prepared by the attorney, nothing needs to be input in Turbo Tax.   Keep your certification information.
