If are using TurboTax Online and you already printed and mailed your tax return(s), then you may ignore the Return Status: Ready to mail message. If a user selects to file by mail, this is a default message that is displayed so it will not change since TurboTax does not know if/when you mailed your tax return(s).

I’ve been currently waiting 6 weeks. Should I call the IRS?

How long does it take by mail to come back? I’ve tried to check through the IRS app where it could be. Says information couldn’t be found?

I know it's frustrating to wait but please keep in mind there are taxpayers who were able to e-file earlier than you who have not received their refunds.

Refund Processing Time
E-filed tax returns with direct deposit – E-file with direct deposit is the fastest way to get your federal tax refund. The IRS states that nine out of 10 e-filed tax returns with direct deposit will be processed within 21 days of IRS e-file acceptance.
Mailed paper returns – Refund processing time is 6 to 8 weeks from the date the IRS receives your tax return.

Will calling you help me get my refund any faster?
No. Our phone and walk-in representatives can only research the status of your refund 21 days after you filed electronically; 6 weeks after you mailed your paper return; or if Where’s My Refund?
