So I believe I seen that I may have said that 8 month old stayed with me for 12months, can I change it

All year, or 12 months, is the correct answer for a newborn unless you are sharing custody with someone who does not live in the same home.  If this is a custody case, and you are the parent with custody more than half the nights since the child was born, all year is still the correct answer.  Only use the actual number of months if you are the non-custodial parent.
