So I am doing my W-2 and on box 15 I can't find my state. The other box next to it, (Employer's state ID number) is correct. Is there something I need to do?

This is my first time. So excuse my unfamiliarity.

Yes, this needs to be entered if it is a state that has income tax. What state is listed in Box 15?

If the state does not have a personal income tax it will not be listed in the dropdown. You leave boxes 15 thru 17 blank (empty) on the W-2
