I am currently trying to file my MA tax return and there are no questions asking me about my health insurance for my 1099-HC.

Enter the information from Form 1099-HC in the State section of the program in the Massachusetts return. Open your return and click on State. Start/Continue your Massachusetts return. As you continue through your state tax return, you'll reach a page "Let's Go Over Your Health Insurance Information". This is where you enter the information from your 1099-HC.

I apologize but I have gone through the State Start/Continue for MA return about 7 times and no where does a page say, "Let's Go Over your Health Insurance Information." Is this because I am a permanent resident of NH? I genuinely have gone through it over and over. On the main page once I click edit it says "health Care Coverage" Underneath the "Adjustments" tab but not once does it go over that in that section. I do not want to be 19.99 for additional help when it seems something is off that is more technology/website related.

It skips right to "Apportion Your Wages?"

The Health Insurance section in the Massachusetts state section is visible if you are filing as a Resident of Massachusetts. You are not seeing the health insurance section because you are not filing in Massachusetts as a resident of that state.

So even though I have healthcare through my job in MA. Massachusetts health care coverage and received a 1099-HC. I cannot use this information? I appreciate your willingness to answer my questions.

Were you a full-year resident of NH last year? Part-year resident of MA last year? Please provide more information about your residency status for last year.

I was a full resident of NH last year; however, I work in Massachusetts and therefore filed my state taxes as in MA as a non-resident. I received health insurance through my employer and it is within MA. I received the 1099-HC. I just find it odd that it doesn't even give me an option to answer any questions regarding health insurance. It doesn't even prompt me to answer any health insurance questions but rather skips over the whole thing as if it's not even part of it. From doing turbo tax it does usually seem to ask questions of you even if the answer will be no. For example it still asks me if I rented in MA even if there is no tax benefit for a NH resident.

Thank you.
Form 1099-HC is a Massachusetts document which serves as proof of health insurance coverage for Massachusetts residents. Since you are filing as a Non-resident, you do not need to file Form 1099-HC and that is why the program is not asking you for that information.
