Sincle filing status

Can I have a filling status of Single is my spouse and I have lived apart for the last two years but are not legally separated or divorced?

Sincle filing status

If you are legally married and not legally separated according to the laws of your state then you can only file your tax return as either Married Filing Jointly or Married Filing Separately.
