Why can I not sign and file my 2025 taxes. I can review but it will not let me sign and file

Maybe you are waiting for some forms. Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.
Many federal and state forms are not yet available. Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.
Be patient.
IF you e-file now, your return will go into “pending” until the IRS starts to accept/reject returns in late January. You cannot make any changes while the return is on the server. The IRS will start to accept/reject 2024 e-files on January 29. And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.
Another thing to check—make sure the address on your tax return and the address on your method of payment match each other.
Everything is correct and I don’t have any missing forms that they are showing that I need. Is there any other reason it wouldn’t let me sign and file?
We cannot see your screen -- so we do not know what is keeping you from e-filing today. But....what is the hurry? The IRS will not be accepting e-files until January 29, so even if you e-file now, your return will just sit on a server for a few weeks.

And, to be perfectly clear, it's your 2024 taxes.
You won't be doing 2025 until after 2025 is over.
