Should the software have told me to mail in my forms, after I chose the e-file option? I tried to get the instructions, but I got an error message instead. What do I do?

generally once e-file option is selected and executed, there are nothing to mail ( other than perhaps   tax due check along with  a 1040-V, if you did not choose to have the amount of taxes due  direct debited from your bank).
