Look at your 1040. Line 35a is a refund. Line 37 is if you owe.
Before filing, You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return
We cannot see your tax return so we do not know if you should be getting a refund or if you owe. What income did you enter? Do you have a a W-2? What is in box 1? Box 2? What is your filing status? How old are you? Any dependents? There are a lot of variables that must be considered to know if you are getting a refund or will owe.
If you are getting a federal refund it will be shown on line 35a of your Form 1040.
If you owe federal tax due, it will be shown on line 37 and must be paid by April 15, 2024.
