Should my 2018 refund change because I was trying to enter my 2017 adjusted gross income does this change my 1099 misc form?

did I go to wrong section and all I want to do is add 2017 agi so I can efile.

Yur 2017 AGI is entered in the very last section of your return under "File" after all of your income is entered. Entering your AGI will have no effect on any of the numbers in your return.
