Should I still receive a confirmation email if I received a text?

What kind of confirmation email? Are you talking about a confirmation concerning your e-file status, or something else?

I e filed my taxes thru TurboTax on February 4,2022 & they were accepted thru TurboTax on February 5,2022. After a little over a week of being accepted on there I still did not receive a confirmation email. Why?

You say the return was accepted?   Are you seeing that on your account?  Did you check your email spam folder?

Did you e-file?  Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

You would receive a confirmation email from TurboTax that your return has been accepted, only if you signed up for email notifications when you e-filed. Once your refund has been accepted, TurboTax receives no further updates as to your refund status. The IRS issues most refunds from e-filed returns in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review. If it's been accepted, you can begin to track your refund using the FAQ link provided below:
