You only report the 2025 Social Security benefits you received and were reported to you on a Form SSA-1099

To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button

No, your income is reported in the year you received it.    Social Security benefits are treated on a cash-basis, taxable when received.   The only social security benefits you have to enter into TurboTax are the benefits that get reported to you on Form SSA-1099.   If you do not get that form, you do not enter the benefits on your tax return.

Direct Deposit?  or paper check in the mail?

And, was an actual SSA-1099 issued for 2025?
