Should I mail in my tax return for "Long Term – Noncovered Securities" after e-filing using TurboTax Premier (desktop software)?

When I entered the "uncovered securities" sale, Turbotax suggested mailing the tax return to IRS after e-filing using TurboTax. I do not see the same suggestion anymore as it initially showed on the screen "Here's a summary of sales from this account". Am confused now about whether to mail the return or not as Turbotax is no showing the same suggestion. Please advice.

Did you enter each security sale that was not "covered" to TurboTax or did you enter just the summary total line to TurboTax.  If you had entered each sale, then there is nothing to be mailed to the IRS.  If you've only entered one summary line, then the IRS needs you to mail in your stockbrokerage 1099 for the Long-term noncovered detail along with IRS Form 8453, U.S. Individual Income Tax Transmittal for an IRS e-file Return and check the last box on the form, "Form 8949, Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets (or a statement with the same information), if you elect not to report your transactions electronically on Form 8949".  TurboTax should provide you with the Form 8453.

Thank you, @guywong for guidance on this. I entered each sale separately for uncovered securities in Turbotax. With the guidance you provided, I believe I do not need to mail the 1099 with Form 8453.
