If he is age 19 or older, not a full time student under the age of 24 and has gross income of $4,300 or more then no one can claim him as a dependent.

Unemployment compensation is taxable income so his income prevents you from claiming him as a dependent.

No.   You cannot claim him if he received more than $4300 of income not counting Social Security.   He received much more than that.  He cannot be claimed as anyone else's dependent.

 

 

 

Or.....is he a full-time student under the age of 24?  Please clarify.
